This beautiful two storey property is located in the quiet and tranquil town of Binningup, 1.5 hours south of Perth and 30 minutes north of Bunbury. The Lookout is situated in the north end of Binningup sitting on top of a hill giving stunning sweeping views over the valley to the ocean, hence the name “The Lookout”. From here you can take a short 10 minute stroll down to one of Binningups beautiful beaches and popular surf breaks or it’s a 2 minute drive to the main swimming beach, pirate ship playground, fishing club, general store or Binningups renowned 9 hole golf course. Even better bring your pushbike and explore everything Binningup has to offer from it’s winding cycle paths.
The Lookout is the perfect holiday destination for groups, families or couples with its very spacious and comfortable sleeping accommodation for up to twelve guests. The open plan living area downstairs consists of a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and all the necessities you may require to cook up a storm. Adjoining dining has seating to comfortably seat eight people and in the winter months warm up by the tile fire or open up the bifolds and let in a cool breeze in the summer time. Downstairs there is also a comfortable lounge to relax, large main bathroom with laundry facilities and the fourth bedroom with four beds and a trundle bed which can sleep up to six people.
When you head upstairs you will find the second lounge which is a great spot for some quiet time and a DVD and also a second bathroom. Up here is also the spacious Master bedroom with queen bed and private ensuite with spa bath, second and third bedrooms both with queen beds which all open up onto the huge deck verandah that wraps around three sides of the house. On the verandah there is BBQ and outdoor furniture and three day beds making this the perfect place to end the day and watch a beautiful Binningup sunset and enjoy a meal and a drink.
The Lookout has a huge backyard area which is child and pet friendly and also has an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach and a fish cleaning station to fillet up your catch of the day. There is secure parking in the carport for one vehicle which also gives through access into the backyard and there is plenty of parking on the large driveway out the front. The house being located at the top of the cul-de-sac means there is no through traffic making it nice and peaceful.
Binningup is a popular holiday destination because of the reef that runs parallel to the main swimming beach providing a protected area for swimming, snorkelling, diving or beach fishing. It also provides safe access to its natural boat ramp for launching off on your next fishing adventure. There is also 4WD access to the south of the main beach or north of Westcoast Drive, a popular beach for surfing in the winter months. Binningups General Store sells all the necessities such as groceries, fuel, alcohol, ice, fishing gear and bait, tyre air compressor, DVD’s, magazines and takeaway food. Or if you prefer a meal out the Fishing Club is open Thursday and Friday nights which is located at the main beach foreshore with the pirate ship playground for the kids.
